The training courses on the radioactive source recovery and radioactive materials transport were held in Hangzhou
The Radioactive Source Recovery Integrated Training and the Training Course on the Security of Radioactive Material during Transport were held in Hangzhou, from 11-15 April of 2011. It was one of the activities of the cooperation program between NNSA/NSC and the Department of Energy of the United States (USDOE). The Los Almaos National Laboratory and the Oak Rige National Laboratory, two national laboratories of the USDOE, sent eight experts to deliver lectures on how to recover radioactive sources and the safe transport of those sources as well as other radioactive materials. More than fifty participants from twenty-seven relevant domestic organizations participated in the workshop.
